Notes: This beefy 10 hackle wing streamer from Don is an adaptation of his favorite saltwater baitfish colors to a classic streamer style. The flash body and blue-green wings are keys to triggering strikes, so aggressive freshwater fish should also find it appealing. Don uses his Wing-Things system to arrange and match the wings for his creations. It works well, because this wing has a wonderful look t it and the 5 colors used flow together seamlessly.
Don Ordes – Mr. Fantasy Fly. I don’t know how to describe myself as a fly tier, so I don’t know anyone else could, at least and be accurate. I enjoy all kinds of tying and then some which aren’t even kinds one can explain. I am serious at times, but most times not. I enjoy flies for fishing, but not the ones anyone else fishes.
