Hook: Gaelic Supreme Mike Martinek Rangeley Streamer 8xl #1
Thread: 6/0 White
Tag: Silver embossed tinsel
Body: Chinese red floss
Rib: Silver embossed tinsel
Belly: White bucktail
Underwing: Peacock herl
Wing: 2 badger hackles flanked by 2 Coque de Leon hackles
Shoulder: Copper Pheasant
Eye: Jungle cock
Head: Black
Notes: The inspiration for the streamer came with a delivery of materials from my good friend Don Ordes. In the package was an assortment of CDL hackles that I fell in love with right away. I used the badger hackle inside of the CDL to give it a bit stronger lateral line, and the CDL gives the wing spectacular mottling.

Great looking streamer. The colors blend so well.
Thanks Alan. It’s one I really enjoy tying.
That is a beautiful fly, well done!!
Thanks Kelly! I just got in a new supply of CDL, and so it’s wonderful timing to show this one off.
