Notes: The pattern is on of several hundred found in the Art of Angling Journal Volume 2, Issue 1. Peggy ties a decidedly elegant Rangeley flavored streamer with the wings set low covering the body and the extra long hook. The original featured a quite large (1/2 – 2/3 body length) golden pheasant tippet with a long wing set on a shorter hook. Dickie may be a nod to Dick Fozie and his Dick’s Special pattern as the two streamers share many similar traits.
The April streamers have now been posted on the auction page and will be open until next Sunday, May 13th. To check out the auctions, visit streamers2012 on ebay.
