#161 Blue Woody - Peggy Brenner

Tied by: Peggy Brenner
Originated by: Peggy Brenner

Hook: Gaelic Supreme Mike Martinek Rangeley Streamer 6xl #1
Thread: White
Tail: Barred wood duck
Body: White floss
Rib: Fine flat silver tinsel
Underwing: Peacock herl
Wing: 4 blue hackles
Shoulder: Wood duck
Eye: Jungle cock
Head: Black

Notes: This is a fun creation of Peggy’s, the outcome of her just playing around with something blue. The result is a truly elegant and striking creation. The blue wing is a perfect fit with the wood duck shoulder and tail. Just a word of caution, if you are reading this at work and want to find out a bit more, DO NOT search Google for the term “Blue Woody”. Just sayin.

The May streamers have now been posted on the auction page and will be open until next Sunday, June 10th. To check out the auctions, visit streamers2012 on ebay.
