Notes: This brings back memories of the late 1990’s in that everywhere you looked, there was a kid wearing an Oakland Starter hat, toque, shirt or overstuffed jacket. The Raiders started their franchise endeavor in 1960, playing in Oakland, moving to Los Angeles in 1982, and then back to Oakland in 1995. Over these past 60+ years, the franchise has won 3 Superbowls and numerous Division titles. Don has done another wonderful job incorporating the team’s silver, black and white color scheme. It’s just missing the Raider on the shoulder, perhaps the next incarnation will have one silk-screened onto the shoulder feather.

Don Soar – Born and raised in central Massachusetts now living in Lancaster with my wife of twenty years Nancy. Fishing started young in life tagging along with my brothers. I took up fly fishing in the early 90’s. Ten years later I started tying flies. After meeting Mike Martinek Jr. at a local fly shop I was introduced to the dark side of fly tying, the long fly.
