The team features a fleur-de-lis logo with black and old gold colours. The Saints grabbed their first Superbowl championship in 2009, defeating the Indianapolis Colts. This came just a couple years after the team was forced to play home games out of state, a result of the 2005 Hurricane Katrina.

Don Soar – Born and raised in central Massachusetts now living in Lancaster with my wife of twenty years Nancy. Fishing started young in life tagging along with my brothers. I took up fly fishing in the early 90’s. Ten years later I started tying flies. After meeting Mike Martinek Jr. at a local fly shop I was introduced to the dark side of fly tying, the long fly.

Black flies seem to work anywhere,i bet this would work great on our large brown trout here in Scotland especially at this time of year when they start to feed on the fry…

Lovely fly Don. The profile is perfect! This would be a good fly to have in your fly box for sure.
