Tied by: Darren MacEachern
Originated by: Dan Legere
Source: Tandem Streamers: the Essential Guide – Donald A. Wilson pg. 68
Hook: Partridge CS15 #2
Body: Black floss
Ribbing: Silver flat tinsel
Wing: White bucktail under 4 yellow hackles
Eye: Jungle cock
Notes: Dan was taught to tie under the watchful eye of his father and was encouraged to experiment with designs of his own. The pattern was tied and tested on Maine’s Mousam and Square Pond and proved to be sucessful on the resident brown trout. His parents later tested the streamer in Northern Maine’s Moosehead Lake and other regional lakes. Dan’s creation again came through with success in landlocked salmon and brook trout. The original was tied in a tandem configuration and large sized ‘A’ thread was used to create the body rather than floss.
