Notes: Fly tyers get their inspiration for pattern in many ways. For some, it is the natural prey items of the trophies they seek, for others, a memory of a favorite lake or river. Alan garnered his inspiration for the Silver Badger from a particularly beautiful Whiting silver badger saddle. We can all be glad in the knowledge that Alan happened upon this saddle and was so inspired to create this graceful classically styled streamer.

Alan PetrucciAlan Petrucci – I have fished streamers ever since the first vacation we took to Mooselookmeguntic Lake in Rangeley Maine back in the mid 70′s. I love their style and their histories. As a fly tyer thats only happened a few years ago.
